I’ve been writing a lot lately on my own blog and Medium about family naturism, which most certainly has an aura of taboo here in the US. On that topic, I found this essay by a young woman who grew up with naked parents to be a breath of fresh air, making a nice contribution on the topic of nudity and kids. I thought this quote is particularly poignant…
I realized that seeing my parents’ ability to live without shame had helped me internalize a stabilizing mantra: if they were fine in their skin, I eventually would be too.
